The Book of Kells
The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript that contains all four of the Gospels of the New Testament in Latin. It was created by Celtic monks circa 800, possibly earlier. It is widely regarded as one of Ireland's finest treasures.
The Book of Kells is housed at Trinity College in Dublin. The entire Book of Kells can be viewed HERE in the Digital Collections of the Trinity College Library.
